I am Ross, a self taught jewellery artist and the mind behind Spiral Roads.
I started making jewellery while living on the road in Europe, meeting artisans from around the world and learning the basics of wirework, macrame and dreamcatchers. I practiced diligently, began to develop my own distinct style and very soon it became my passion. When I returned to England I worked on turning this passion into a business so that I could continue to create jewellery every day.

I strive to develop my skills as a jeweller in order to push the boundaries of my art, create quality pieces and bring something new to the world of jewellery. I see it as a form of self expression and a miniature, wearable piece of art.
My creative process is fundamentally playful and explorative, resulting in unconventional styles and unusual ideas. I love to work with asymmetry, flowing curves, organic textures and I am totally fascinated with gemstones. I like to combine different techniques, exploring how they can cooperate and flow together, creating balance or contrast.
I have now been designing and making jewellery for over 6 years and I'm even more passionate about it every day. To join me on this creative journey, browse my shop for available jewellery or sign up to my email list below to hear about future collections and insights into my process.
